Birthday of the Month
Participants at ARC in Union City and CAP Concord were the lucky recipients of CARH’sSeptember “Birthday’s of the Month”. On September 21st, a birthday celebration was held
for Jack, Sam, Heather, Andrew, at the Michael Guidotti Center in Castro Valley. Accompanied
by their friends from ARC they enjoyed games, dancing and arts and crafts. On September 21st, a birthday bash for Amanda, Danielle, Jason, and Kim was held at their day program in Concord. Each “Birthday of the Month” recipient was overjoyed to receive several personalized gifts, cake, balloons and an adorable teddy bear or doll.
CARH’s hosts 2nd Annual Picnic
at Discovery Park in Sacramento
Sunny blue skies made a gorgeous day for CARH’s 2nd Annual Picnic held at the beautiful Discovery Park in Sacramento on September 25th. This fabulous event gave those we serve an opportunity to share a special day among family and friends, while enjoying a variety of fun activities geared for their special needs. Game booths (with prizes), face painting, Live DJ, dancing, singing, entertainment, raffle, and good eats, including barbecue and snow cones were just some of the many attractions. It’s no wonder CARH’s picnics have become so popular among our growing number of clients. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, Live DJ, Steve Hansen, Face Painter, Catherine Grillos, and The Guys and Dolls of Sacramento Square Dance Group for making our 2nd Annual Picnic a great success. This fun and memorable event provided a great ending to a short summer for over 300 special individuals.
CARH Jingle Bell Balls
Celebrate the Holidays with CARH by attending one of our four Holiday Luncheons. Come and enjoy fine dining, dancing, raffle, caroling, Tap Dancing Christmas Trees, and a visit with Santa. These are very popular events and fill up quickly, so don’t delay and send in your RSVP form today. Invitations were sent to those registered with CARH on October 6th (See Bullion for details).
