CARH’s 31st Annual Picnic

Sunny blue skies, shady Elm trees, and lush green grass

provided a beautiful setting for CARH’s 31st Annual Picnic held

at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. The event

which took place on Saturday, June 12th, provided a wealth of

fun activities, delicious food, and live entertainment for those

living with disabilities. A variety of game booths, balloons, face

painting, lawn sports, live music for dancing, talent show, and

tasty barbecue were all part of the festivities. Since 1980,

CARH’s picnic has been bringing joy to those living with special

needs. As the number of those registering with CARH

continues to rise, the popularity of this event continues to

draw new individuals each year. This year, the event attracted

1,066 individuals living in over five Counties. With numbers

like these it is evident that CARH’s services our needed more

than ever. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, and

entertainers, including Live DJ, David Goulart of Unforgettable

Memories, The Strings, Face Painter, Catherine Grillos, and

Stomper of the Oakland A’s, for making this such a memorable

event for all who attended.
