“All You Need is Love”
CARH’sAnnual Valentine Dances, took ona new theme this year, “All you Need is Love”. The 60’s and 70’s era inspired dancesadded a fun twist to these already popular February events. This year’s danceswere held at the Newark and Concord Hilton Hotels, and at the Valley SpringsPresbyterian Church in Roseville attracting 800 guests living in over five Counties.Keeping the theme alive our guests dressed for the occasion wearing hippy andflower child garb or disco attire.
Thedances provided great fun for everyone in attendance and a Valentine gift. Allof our guests enjoyed a delicious meal, Live DJ services provided by SteveHanson, raffle and crafts. Thetheme “All you Need is Love” came from the idea that thoseliving with intellectual disabilities need just that, love andcompassion, and CARH aims to deliver. We would like to takethis opportunity to thank our community for their help in in making sure thatCARH continues to enrich the lives of those we serve with thesememorable events.
